Fear Journal

Throughout the book Lord of the Flies by William Golding, a group of boys get stranded on a deserted island. As the story develops so does their fear. Fear is one of the major themes in this book. The boys are scared of the beast, other boys, and the chances that they will never be found. Right now in the story Simon was just killed by the other boys. Ralph and Piggy were the only ones that really seem to understand the significance of his murder. This creates a new fear, of Jack and his Hunters.
